Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an RN to join our Neurology Practice on the Day Shift. This full-time role supports patient care with nursing assessments, triage calls, and education in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program.
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids ADN must enroll in BSN within 6 months and complete in 4 years.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan.
• 1 year RN experience required; RN residency for new grads may occur three times yearly.
• Specialty credentialing preferred according to clinical nursing practice area.

Responsibilities

• Telephone triage.
• Medication refill.
• New consult evaluation.
• Patient education.
• Performs clerical functions and all Medical Assistant duties; supports team objectives.

Position Summary

A variety of shared responsibilities in a busy practice. Utilizes nursing assessment skills and clinical protocol guidelines in a decision-making capacity to provide timely and efficient patient care.

What you will need

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
• Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
• Licensed in the State of Michigan
• 1 years of experience as an RN required if new grad must apply to RN residency that takes place three times a year in February, July and October
• Specialty credentialing preferred according to clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred
