Trinity Health MI in Grand Rapids is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Day Shift position at the East Paris Internal Medicine Practice. Responsibilities include triage, medication refills, new consult evaluations, patient education, and supportive clerical and environmental duties in a busy practice.

Ideal candidates have an ADN with Michigan licensure; BSN preferred, and an RN residency is available for new grads.

Qualifications

Position Summary

A variety of shared responsibilities in a busy practice. Utilizes nursing assessment skills and clinical protocol guidelines in a decision-making capacity to provide timely and efficient patient care.

What you will do

• Telephone triage

• Patient education
• Performs clerical functions, all functions of a Medical Assistant, and environmental duties to support team objectives

What you will need

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
• Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
• Licensed in the State of Michigan
• 1 years of experience as an RN required if new grad must apply to RN residency that takes place three times a year in February, July and October
• Specialty credentialing preferred according to clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred
