Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH seeks a Medical Practice Representative to serve as the primary contact between the office and outside parties. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, entering patient demographics, and maintaining medical records for the OBGYN specialty at location 3600 Stelzer Rd, Ste 220.

The role supports patient intake and administrative tasks with hours Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with multiline telephone systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Position Purpose

• Medical Practice Representative serves as a primary contact/link between office and all outside parties. Performs duties such as scheduling appointments, entering patient demographics into system, filing and maintaining patient medical records

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent
• Experience: One to two years of medical office experience preferred
• Experience answering multiline telephone system preferred
