Mount Carmel Health System in Westerville, OH seeks a Coordinator Medical Practice – Operations to plan, organize, and direct daily patient flow under the guidance of the provider, Manager, and RN Clinical Lead.

Location: 925 N State St #250, Westerville, OH 43082. Hours: 7:30am–4:40pm. This role emphasizes coordinating office activities, staff supervision, and patient-centered service in a busy medical practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of practice experience required; staff leadership experience valued.
• Knowledge of business office and clinical care coordination.
• Demonstrated project management skills with strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient inquiries and care-related information promptly and courteously.
• Interview, evaluate, train, and support office staff with the Manager.
• Create and maintain staffing schedules and coordinate office activities for smooth patient flow.
• Implement policies and procedures through the Manager.
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude and identify process improvements.
• Review reports and escalate concerns to the Manager.

Position Purpose

• Location: 925 N State St #250, Westerville, OH 43082
• Hours: 7:30am - 4:40pm

What You Will Do

• Assists with patient inquiries/concerns regarding medical care, medication instructions, and prescription call-ins in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Interviews, evaluates, trains and supports office staff in conjunction with the Manager.
• Creates and maintains staffing schedules.
• Coordinates activities and functions of the office to ensure a smooth patient flow.
• Implements policies, processes, and procedures via the Manager.
• Demonstrates a positive customer service attitude/behavior.
• Recommends continuous process improvement.
• Reviews reports and escalates concerns to Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Highschool diploma. Bachelor's degree preferred
• Licensure / Certification: NA
• Experience: Two (2) years of practice experience required
• Experience in leading staff preferred.
• Current working knowledge of the importance of business office and clinical care area coordination.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects: strong organizational skills; highly motivated and self- directed; and attentive to detail.
