Job summary

I & S Group, Inc. is seeking a Medical Planner to join our Architecture team in La Crosse, WI, focusing on healthcare planning and programming. You will partner with physicians, healthcare leaders, and project teams to develop space solutions that address operational and patient care needs.

You will mentor team members, contribute to project master planning, and collaborate across design disciplines to deliver patient-centered healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
• Architectural registration/licensure strongly preferred.
• EDAC and/or ACHA accreditation strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare projects or medical planning required.
• Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop healthcare planning and programming concepts and communicate with clients and teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through all project phases.
• Analyze space utilization to meet operational and strategic goals.
• Partner with clinicians to align on planning concepts and space solutions.
• Prepare master planning and pre-design studies with internal and external teams.
• Mentor design team members to develop medical planning expertise.
• Support marketing and business development efforts.
