Job description

UPMC Williamsport Medical Physicist Positions

UPMC Williamsport is seeking multiple Medical Physicists in Williamsport, PA, to:

  • Conduct and assist in all aspects of Radiation Oncology physics, including commissioning of radiotherapy equipment and providing clinical support.
  • Perform regular quality assurance (QA) testing and dosimetry calibration of all radiation therapy equipment.
  • Implement 3D CT- and 4D CT-based treatment planning and delivery.
  • Apply motion management techniques, with experience in stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT).
  • Carry out dosimetry and clinical implementation of IMRT, VMAT, image-guided radiotherapy, and various brachytherapy procedures.
