Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking a Medical Peer Review RN to lead coordination and direction of the medical peer review process, collaborating with the Medical Peer Review Committee and Medical Staff Services Director to maintain a timely, confidential review process.

You will facilitate OPPE/FPPE, prepare a summary of concurrent review conclusions for MPRC, and coordinate with Medical Records for data retrieval and retrospective peer review.

Qualifications

• Degree in accredited Registered Nursing Program; BSN required.
• Minimum 3–5 years in an acute care setting with knowledge of diagnoses, treatment modalities, and performance improvement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and direction of the medical peer review process.
• Collaborate with MPRC and Medical Staff Services Director to ensure timely, multidisciplinary reviews.
• Facilitate OPPE/FPPE with Medical Staff Coordinator.
• Prepare summary reports of concurrent review conclusions for MPRC.
• Coordinate with Medical Records for data retrieval for retrospective peer review.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of reviewed issues for accuracy.
