Job summary

Providence is seeking a Peer Review RN to design, implement and continuously evaluate physician and nursing peer review programs in collaboration with physician and nursing leadership. The role requires strong clinical analytics, problem solving, and the ability to prioritize time-sensitive deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• California Registered Nurse License required on hire.
• At least 3 years of acute care clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the design, implementation and ongoing evaluation of the physician peer review program and nursing peer review process in collaboration with physician and nursing leaders.
• Screen hospital incident reports and mine other reports and databases; perform case reviews per Federal, State and National guidelines.
• Collaborate with Quality, Safety and Risk teams to develop action plans addressing performance trends and events.
