Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Claims Medical Only Representative in Oklahoma City to deliver efficient administrative, claim and customer support. You’ll work with claimants, clients and vendors to drive timely disposition and accurate reserves, while maintaining compliance and service quality.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of claims experience, with proper licensing in applicable states. Join a team focused on empathy, accuracy, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience required.
• Legally licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of claims investigation, settlement procedures, and applicable state laws and practices.
• Proficient in claims software and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with claimants and clients to build relationships.
• Accurately set reserves, process payments, and document activity with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide fair, timely claim disposition per standards.
• Use analytical skills to resolve issues in handling claims.

Overview

We are currently looking for a Claims Medical Only Representative who has a passion to provide outstanding administrative, claim and customer support. Do you love learning how things work and being part of a team with shared goals? You may be an excellent fit for this exciting role!

How you'll make an impact

• Make a difference by communicating effectively with claimants and clients to build relationships and make connections.
• Accurately set reserves, make payments and document file activity by working with clients, claimants, vendors, field personnel and other internal or external resources.
• Provide fair, equitable and timely claim disposition, consistent with our standards.
• Use analytical skills to make decisions and resolve issues inherent in handling claims.

About You

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 years related experience required
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
• Knowledge of claims investigation, settlement procedures, applicable state laws and accepted industry standards and practices
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.- Minimum of 1 year related experience
