Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking an entry-level Claims professional to support administrative, claims and customer service tasks. The role begins fully in-office, transitioning to a hybrid schedule after the first year, with opportunities to learn how to set reserves, process payments, and document file activity.

You will be part of a team that communicates with claimants and clients to build relationships and deliver fair, efficient claim dispositions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience required.
• Licensure/certification in all states where claims are handled is required.
• Knowledge of claims investigation, settlement procedures, state laws and industry standards.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with claimants and clients to build relationships.
• Set reserves, process payments and document file activity with clients, claimants, vendors and internal/external resources.
• Provide fair, timely claim disposition in line with our standards.

Overview

About You

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
