Banner Health in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in Medical Oncology for our new Scottsdale facility opening early 2027. You will train at Banner University Cancer Center until opening date, bringing expertise to shape the foundation of this exciting location.

As an RN in Medical Oncology, you will deliver expert nursing assessments, manage symptoms, coordinate follow-up care, and educate patients and families.

Formación

• Must possess a current RN license in the state of practice; BLS certification required.
• Oncology nursing experience or strong familiarity with cancer care preferred.
• Arizona-specific regulatory requirements may apply.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and educational needs and plan care.
• Coordinate and implement plans of care and discharge planning.
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate with physicians, and supervise care delivery.
• Evaluate patient progress and update care plans as needed.
• Document care accurately in the patient record.
• Participate in shared leadership and mentor other staff where appropriate.
• Promote quality outcomes and safe, evidence-based nursing practice.
