Job summary

St Anthony North Hospital in Colorado is seeking a Medical Oncology Physician to diagnose, stage, and treat cancer using systemic therapies while leading multidisciplinary care teams. You will develop personalized treatment plans, manage complex cases, and coordinate long-term survivorship care.

The role requires board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology, an active Colorado license (or ability to obtain), and participation in tumor boards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with accredited residency and oncology fellowship
• Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
• Active Colorado medical license or ability to obtain
• Current, unrestricted DEA registration

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and stage cancer through exams, biopsies, imaging, and test interpretation.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, hormone therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and nurses for comprehensive care coordination.
• Monitor patients, manage side effects, and coordinate palliative care.
• Provide long-term follow-up and survivorship care plans.
• Participate in Tumor Boards and facilitate access to clinical trials.
• Adhere to AMA medical ethics and relevant specialty board standards.
• Leverage Physician Group resources to optimize efficiency.
