Job summary

St Anthony North Hospital in Denver, CO seeks a Medical Oncology Physician to diagnose, stage, and treat cancer using systemic therapies while leading multidisciplinary teams. You will develop personalized treatment plans and coordinate long-term survivorship care, supported by a robust clinical environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Residency and fellowship aligned with specialty.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology.
• Active Colorado medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Current, unrestricted DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and stage cancer through patient examination, biopsies, imaging, and test interpretation.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing chemotherapy, hormone therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and nurses for comprehensive care coordination.
• Monitor patients, manage side effects, and coordinate palliative/supportive care.
• Provide long-term follow-up for recurrence screening and survivorship care plans.
• Participate in Tumor Boards and facilitate access to clinical trials.
• Adhere to AMA medical ethics and relevant specialty board standards.
• Leverage Physician Group resources to optimize efficiency.
