HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Medical Office Specialist for a full-time, day-shift role in Richmond, VA. You will handle reception, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient registration to ensure high-quality, efficient care.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in a medical office and a High School Diploma or GED. EHR experience is highly preferred and familiarity with a specific specialty is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using an EHR system is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients at reception and answer phones.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments.
• Check in patients and document registration.
• Verify insurance and patient demographics.
• File and retrieve medical records/files.
• Copy and fax documents.
• Collect co-pays and process payments.
• Enter charges and balance daily transactions.
