Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of administrative, office, hospitality, customer service, or medical office experience or training.
• Familiar with CPT/ICD-10 codes and medical insurance processes.
• HIPAA regulations knowledge preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Maintain all aspects of the physician's office and schedules as assigned.
• Provide back-up coverage to coworkers and physicians.
• Schedule in-office and outpatient appointments, including New Patient, post-op, and pre-op.
• Review referrals and obtain authorizations when required.
• Verify insurance eligibility and pre-certifications.
• Communicate with physicians for patient messages; manage voicemail and messages.
• Ensure radiology tests and operative reports are received before appointments.
• Perform general office duties and indexing of medical records.
