Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD and CPT helpful.
• HIPAA privacy regulations knowledge appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Schedule clinic appointments including consultations and follow-ups using CPS/GE Centricity and Scheduling Assistant.
• Obtain patient demographics and insurance eligibility; update records for claim processing.
• Confirm insurance eligibility at appointment scheduling.
• Process referrals and communicate with patients to schedule appointments.
• Triage calls and relay messages to appropriate staff; maintain patient confidentiality.
