Southeast Orthopedic Specialists in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Lead Medical Office Scheduler to support the call center and scheduling teams. The role focuses on process improvement, patient scheduling, and ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years in healthcare, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lead a team, manage call queues, and resolve scheduling discrepancies

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in the healthcare field.
• Previous call center experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Open/close duties for the department and provide leadership direction.
• Assist with scheduling, paging and referral systems.
• Answer escalated questions and calls on the Help Line.
• Monitor call queues and coach agents to improve performance.
• Ensure HIPAA confidentiality and accurate patient demographics.
