The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, four years of medical office experience, and is preferred to have further medical qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years experience in a medical office setting.
• Preferred certifications in healthcare management or as a Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Process patient referrals for the practices in the market.
• Facilitate orders to outside facilities.
• Coordinate scheduling of office visits for referred patients.
• Assist patients in finding resources that accept various insurances.
• Obtain pre-authorization from payers.
• Call insurance companies to get medications approved.
