Valor Healthcare is seeking a passionate Medical Office Receptionist to join our team at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Cranberry. We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits, generous time off, and a weekday schedule in exchange for your dedication and experience.

Valor operates over 50 VA CBOCs across the U.S. as a contractor for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, offering a full range of services including primary care, diagnostics, laboratory, telehealth, behavioral health, and more.

As a Medical Office Receptionist, your responsibilities include providing prescribed medical treatment and personal care services, collaborating with the PACT team and other involved parties to develop patient care plans.

Core Responsibilities
  • Assist with administrative support related to patient care
  • Input patient information into VISTA/CPRS
  • Verify and complete clinical reminders before patient checkout
  • Check patients in and out of the clinic
  • Schedule appointments
  • Answer phones and relay messages promptly
  • Ensure compliance with OIG, JC, EOC, and lab standards
  • Maintain data input accuracy to achieve excellent clinical outcomes
  • Provide excellent customer service to veterans and colleagues
  • Participate in outreach events and support enrollment initiatives
  • Support patient retention and follow-up visits
  • Support new clinical and operational initiatives
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills; EMR experience preferred
  • High-quality customer service and organizational skills
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a clinical or call center environment (preferred)
  • Credentialed and in good standing with the VA
  • Current BLS certification (renew as required); ACLS as per contract
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken
  • Energetic and optimistic demeanor
  • This position is safety-sensitive
