Summary:
Performs patient check-in and check-out procedures, processes financial information, and provides patient billing information. Demonstrates effective customer service and computer skills.

Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED required.
Licensure/Certification Requirements: No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements: Prefer completion of an accredited medical administrative assisting program and previous experience in a medical office.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, speak effectively before groups, perform basic math, process data accurately, and apply common sense to carry out instructions.
