Summary

Performs patient check-in and check-out procedures, processes financial information, and provides patient billing information. Demonstrates effective customer service and computer skills.

Schedule and Availability
  • Three 8-hour shifts per week
  • Occasional travel to other clinic locations within our network may be required based on operational needs. Candidates should be flexible and willing to support multiple sites to ensure continuity of care and clinic efficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Maintains compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Follows revenue cycle and financial audit guidelines.
  • Provides effective computer support, answers phones professionally, and performs administrative duties.
  • Performs patient check-in/out, manages health information, verifies insurance, codes visits, balances receipts, and handles billing questions.
  • Schedules appointments and maintains supplies and equipment.
  • Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control policies.
  • Provides excellent customer service and demonstrates teamwork.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • No licensure or certification required.
  • Preferred: Completion of an accredited medical administrative assisting program and previous experience in a medical office.
  • Skills: Ability to interpret documents, communicate effectively, perform basic math, process data accurately, and apply common sense to instructions.
