Experienced Board-Certified Physician in the process of opening (anticipated for during thelast 2 weeks of July 2025) a medical practice in the general area of Routes 70 and 73 (South Jersey) with final location not yet selected, is seeking an enthusiastic MedicalAssistant/Receptionist who will have experience with the following:
The candidate needs to have the ability to competently and skillfully perform all clinical and clerical functions including, but not limited to: answering and triaging patient phone calls and messages, patient scheduling, obtaining insurance prior authorizations, patient rooming, obtaining vital signs, patient interview, electronic documentation, screening tools, obtaining records to assist in treatment, and working as a team player. Responsible for providing high quality direct patient care and assisting physicians and other clinical staff with patient care and other clinical and administrative duties in a professional manner. Candidate must also be proficient in the use of Botox medication (and related activities regarding the use and preparation of Botox, including but not limited to: insurance criteria, authorization issues, specialty pharmacy issues, accurate receipt and inventory of Botox medication, Botox Savings program, and reimbursement policies). You will work on completing Botox authorizations, verifications, order Botox from the specialtypharmacies, and review Botox reimbursements to ensure that claims are paid. You may beassigned to other roles within the front desk or back-end of the office per staffing needs, including obtaining prior authorizations for medications, rooming patients, and managing clinical inventory.

Five or More Years of relevant experience in a busy medical practice setting as a Medical
Assistant/Receptionist including performing the following tasks:
1. Medication authorization: 2 years (Required)
2. Appointment scheduling: 2 years (Required)
3. Customer service: 2 years (Required)
4. Insurance verification: 2 years (Required)
5. EMR/EHR experience : 2 years (Required)
6. Working knowledge of using: Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook and
PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat: 2 years (Required)
Pay: Negotiable based upon education and amount of experience
Paid Time: PTO System of 16 days per year accrued over the year inclusive of 5 Sick Days and 6
Holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day
and Christmas Day).
Work Week: Monday through Friday, excluding (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas) 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
