Adams & Martin Group is seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Litigation Secretary to support attorneys handling complex malpractice matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role involves case inception through trial, preparation and filing of legal documents, managing calendars, coordinating with clients and experts, and assisting with billing and trial materials. A minimum of 5+ years in litigation support and familiarity with medical terminology are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation secretary experience, including medical malpractice.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court filings, and legal document preparation.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide litigation support from case inception through trial and resolution.
• Prepare, revise, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Maintain and organize case files, medical records, and litigation materials.
• Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, depositions, hearings, and client meetings.
• Coordinate with clients, medical experts, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
• Assist with time entry, billing support, and administrative tasks.
• Prepare trial exhibits, binders, and witness materials, and provide support during trial proceedings.
