Location

Indianapolis, IN (Downtown). This is a hybrid‑eligible position with regular in‑office presence required near Indianapolis. Ideal for candidates already based in the metro area or within reasonable commuting distance. The firm is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis.

Job Description

• Manage a caseload of complex medical malpractice matters from initial intake through investigation, discovery, and trial
• Conduct thorough case investigations including medical record review and coordination with expert witnesses
• Draft and argue pleadings, motions, and discovery in state and federal court
• Take and defend depositions of parties, treating physicians, and expert witnesses
• Prepare cases for mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial — and see them through
• Develop and execute litigation strategy in collaboration with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear, consistent communication throughout the process
• Advocate zealously for plaintiffs who have suffered serious harm from medical negligence

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, or mass tort matters
• Active Indiana Bar license required
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to manage a complex, multi‑case docket and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
• Demonstrated commitment to plaintiff‑side advocacy
• Experience taking or defending depositions preferred
