Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Medical Malpractice Litigation Associate in Irvine, CA. The attorney will support experienced litigators through all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, coordinating depositions, and preparing appellate documents.

Requirements include a JD and 1+ year of litigation experience; candidates with Medical Malpractice exposure or related fields are preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in Medical Malpractice or related practice areas preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with calendaring depositions, mediations and hearings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions and affidavits.
• E-file court documents in state and federal courts.
• Communicate with clients, courts and counsel.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigations.
• Prepare discovery documents and responses.
• Coordinate and summarize depositions.
• Organize trial binders and exhibits.
• Draft and file appellate documents.
• Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes.
• Assist with interrogatories and discovery requests.
