Jobot is seeking a Medical Malpractice Litigation Associate to join our Irvine, CA team. You will handle a fast-paced caseload across medical malpractice, insurance defense, elder abuse, and catastrophic injury, with opportunities for growth.

Requirements include a JD, CA license, at least 3 years of litigation, proven trial experience, and knowledge of healthcare regulations. We offer a competitive base salary of $145,000–$185,000 with a strong bonus, comprehensive benefits, and hybrid/remote

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school and CA license to practice law.
Minimum 3 years of litigation experience with proven trial results.
Expert knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical malpractice law.
Federal court admissions a plus; able to manage multiple cases independently.
Strong research skills and proficiency with legal research tools.
Proficient with case management software and document handling.

Responsibilities

Actively manage a diverse caseload of medical malpractice claims, including insurance defense, elder abuse, and catastrophic injury cases.
Conduct thorough investigations to identify issues and develop defense strategies.
Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Represent clients in court proceedings with strong trial advocacy.
Collaborate with medical professionals, expert witnesses, and others to build defense cases.
Provide risk management advice and keep clients informed of progress and developments.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical malpractice law and healthcare regulations.
