Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school and CA bar admission.
- Minimum 3 years of litigation experience.
- Strong trial experience and record of successful resolutions.
- Expert knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical malpractice law.
- Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines.
- Federal court admissions in Central/Southern Districts a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of medical malpractice claims including insurance defense, elder abuse, and catastrophic injury.
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Represent clients in court and participate in trial advocacy.
- Collaborate with medical professionals and experts to build defense.
- Provide risk-management advice to clients and keep them informed.
- Stay updated on changes in medical malpractice law and healthcare regulations.
