Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school is required.
• Must be admitted to practice in NY.
• 2+ years of litigation experience; medical malpractice or healthcare litigation experience is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present legal arguments clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of medical malpractice and healthcare defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Take and defend depositions, appear in court, and participate in all phases of litigation.
• Develop litigation strategy in partnership with experienced attorneys and firm leadership.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other substantive legal filings.
• Build strong relationships with healthcare clients by providing strategic counsel and regular case updates.
• Work on complex and high‑profile healthcare litigation, including a significant docket of COVID‑related claims and other emerging liability matters.
