The candidate should have a JD from an accredited law school, be admitted to practice in Texas, and possess at least two years of defense litigation experience, with strong written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school is required.
• Admitted to practice in Texas is required.
• Minimum 2 years of defense litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice or healthcare defense.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload focused on medical malpractice claims.
• Collaborate with attorneys, team members, and partners on strategic projects.
• Attend court appearances, depositions, motion hearings, and trials.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Draft and review complex legal documents, including pleadings and settlement agreements.
• Contribute to case strategies and support senior team members in trial preparations.
