Jobot is seeking a civil litigation attorney for a boutique to mid-size firm on the Main Line. The role involves handling a full caseload of medical malpractice matters, with focus on complex issues and client communication. PA licensure and JD are required, with at least two years of civil litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Current license to practice law in PA.
• A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handling a full caseload of medical malpractice cases, from inception through trial or resolution.
• Conducting thorough and thoughtful analysis of complex legal issues related to medical malpractice and healthcare law.
• Interacting with clients to keep them informed about the progress of their cases and to answer their questions and concerns.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Representing clients in court, at depositions, and at other necessary proceedings.
• Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the smooth running of our legal office.
• Staying updated on the latest changes in medical malpractice and insurance defense law to provide the most accurate advice to clients.
