Jobot, a nationally recognized law firm, seeks a Litigation Attorney in Philadelphia to handle sophisticated medical malpractice and professional liability matters. The attorney will manage active caseloads, draft pleadings, take depositions, and provide strategic guidance to clients.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of litigation experience, PA Bar admission, and strong writing/advocacy skills. Hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in PA.
• 8+ years of litigation experience, medical malpractice defense or professional liability preferred.
• Excellent legal writing and analytical abilities; strong oral advocacy and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters with minimal supervision; trial preparation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Defend healthcare providers in medical malpractice and professional liability litigation.
• Independently manage a diverse litigation caseload.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other filings.
• Conduct written discovery and take/defend depositions.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial; retain and collaborate with experts.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Assist with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings; conduct legal and medical research.
• Provide strategic litigation advice and client-facing guidance.
