Morgan & Morgan in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our growing department. The attorney will handle a heavy, complex caseload from intake through trial, working with a top-producing team in an established practice.

This full-time role involves managing pre-litigation, discovery, depositions and court appearances, drafting pleadings and motions, and guiding clients through the case process while collaborating with expert witnesses to achieve

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active FL State Bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, medical malpractice preferred.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter with long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
• Guide clients through the case process

Summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Attorney to join our growing Medical Malpractice department. The Medical Malpractice Attorney will handle and support a heavy and complex case-load of cases from pre-litigation, litigation, trial prep and trial. This is an opportunity to join an established practice group and one of our top producing teams. This position would sit in our Jacksonville, FL office.

Responsibilities

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• An active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, ideally involving medical negligence/malpractice, catastrophic injury, and/or nursing home matters
• Ability to manage high volume
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Self-starter driven by long‑term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
