Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our Savannah office. The attorney will handle a heavy, complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, supporting a top-producing team in an established practice group.

Qualified candidates will have a law degree, active GA Bar status, 5+ years of medical malpractice experience, and excellent writing, advocacy and client-service skills. This full-time role provides a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active GA State Bar Association member in good standing.
• Minimum 5+ years of medical malpractice experience, preferably Plaintiff.
• Ability to manage high volume caseloads.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, demands, motions and memoranda.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including conferences and drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, court appearances and trial.

Summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Attorney to join our growing Medical Malpractice department. The Medical Malpractice Attorney will handle and support a heavy and complex case-load of cases from pre-litigation, litigation, trial prep and trial. This is an opportunity to join an established practice group and one of our top producing teams. This position would sit in our Savannah office.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial
