Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of medical malpractice experience.
• Proven track record of successful outcomes and substantial settlements/verdicts.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and standards of care.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex medical and legal concepts to clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage medical malpractice cases from initial consultation through trial or settlement.
• Conduct thorough investigations into alleged medical negligence incidents.
• Analyze medical records, consult with medical experts, and develop case strategies.
• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Mentor junior attorneys and oversee case teams.
• Stay current with evolving medical malpractice laws and healthcare regulations.
