Mayer LLP is seeking a skilled Medical Malpractice attorney to join our Albuquerque office. You will conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on complex malpractice matters, handling cases from inception to trial.

Qualificações

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of New Mexico.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical malpractice, complex litigation, wrongful death, or similar.
• Experience on high-exposure cases ($10M+).
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Excellent oral communication and negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct legal research and provide legal analysis on Medical Malpractice issues.
• Develop case strategies, evaluate settlement value, and advise clients.
• Lead cases from start to finish; draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Participate in strategy discussions and negotiations.
• Manage case files and maintain organized records.
