Job summary

Razavi Law Group A Professional Corp in Santa Ana, CA seeks an experienced Lien Negotiator to join our plaintiff-side firm at our Santa Ana headquarters. The role requires strong negotiation experience, a solid understanding of medical billing, and the ability to manage high-value, high-volume negotiations.

You will negotiate lien reductions with providers and payers, review files, prepare End Letters, reconcile costs, and communicate with providers and clients.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in lien negotiations preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and CasePeer preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to reduce balances.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a team player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate reductions on medical liens with healthcare providers and third-party payers
• Review case files to identify and verify all outstanding liens and expenses
• Prepare accurate and clear client End Letters for disbursement at case closure
• Reconcile medical bills, legal costs, and settlement figures
• Create detailed disbursement spreadsheets outlining fees, costs, and net client recovery
• Communicate effectively with providers, clients, and internal team members to resolve discrepancies
