Job summary
AstraZeneca GmbH is seeking a Medical Lead for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) in Gaithersburg, MD. This is a hybrid role that requires onsite presence and a medical leadership role in the Hematology Oncology Franchise.
The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate in Medicine and at least 5 years of relevant experience in onco-hematology. Responsibilities include leading Medical Affairs activities and developing the medical strategy, engaging with various stakeholders, and ensuring the accuracy of medical information.
Annual base pay ranges from $193,281.60 to $289,922.40, along with eligibility for various incentives and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience in industry, clinical, or research institution.
- 1-3 years in HQ Medical Affairs role preferred.
- Proven ability to interact productively with commercial and scientific/medical colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Lead Medical Affairs activities in Hematology Oncology Franchise.
- Develop medical strategy and deliver medical plan (IMAP).
- Ensure medical accuracy and fair balance in promotional materials.
