Job summary

180 Engineering is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support medical laser equipment across the Greater Boston area with on-site maintenance and responsive service.

The role requires 3+ years in electronic system or medical equipment maintenance, knowledge of laser tech, and strong communication with customers; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electronic system or medical equipment maintenance
• Experience or coursework in laser technology and/or optics
• Experience in analog and digital electronic circuitry
• AS/BS in electronics, electro-optics, engineering, or equivalent
• Good communication skills and ability to deal effectively with customers

Responsibilities

• Provide technical services on medical and aesthetic laser equipment, including onsite corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and other service-related duties in addition to phone support.
• Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters.
• Generates timely and accurate documentation on services performed.
• Responsible for customer satisfaction. Fosters strong relationships with customers through responsive and thorough communications.
• This Field Service Engineer will cover customer accounts in the Northeast / Mid Atlantic areas. Some travel out of area may be required.

Field Service Engineer (Medical Lasers) (Direct Hire) Greater Boston area

Job Requisition: 7679

Pay Range: $80,000 - $110,000 plus overtime. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.

JOB FUNCTION:

We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to serve our customers in the New England region. The Field Service Engineer will work closely with our Regional Manager to ensure that all customer needs are addressed in a timely and zero-defect manner. Some travel may be required outside of the region, but routinely home daily

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical services on medical and aesthetic laser equipment, including onsite corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and other service-related duties in addition to phone support.
• Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters.
• Generates timely and accurate documentation on services performed.
• Responsible for customer satisfaction. Fosters strong relationships with customers through responsive and thorough communications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic system or medical equipment maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting
• Experience or coursework in laser technology and/or optics
• Experience in analog and digital electronic circuitry is preferred
• Associate of Science / Bachelor of Science degree in electronics, electro-optics, engineering, or equivalent is preferred
• Must have good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with customers
