Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking a Laboratory Technician to process specimens, perform tests, report results, calibrate equipment, and assist the Clinical Laboratory Manager in evaluating new tests and procedures. A B.S. in Medical Technology or MLS and ASCP certification are required, with certification within one year if not currently certified.

NH licensure is optional. The position offers hourly compensation ranging from $33.77 to $45.59 per hour, with final pay determined by experience

Qualifications

• B.S. in Medical Technology or MLS as required.
• Must be ASCP certified or equivalent.
• If not certified, must obtain within one year of hire.
• Licensure in NH is optional.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens, perform tests, report results.
• Calibrate equipment and perform quality control.
• Assist Clinical Laboratory Manager with new tests evaluation.
