Qualifications

• Requires minimum a Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or related field.
• Must be registered with ASCP or AMT.
• Experience with installing and testing new laboratory software.

Responsibilities

• Performs high complexity laboratory testing and analyses on specimens.
• Reports test results promptly and accurately.
• Calibrates and maintains laboratory instruments.
• Troubleshoots instrumentation issues.
• Collects and prepares samples for testing.
• Communicates abnormal results to supervisors and physicians.
• Assists with phlebotomy and patient care as needed.
• Participates in supply ordering and inventory control.
