Are you an experienced Clinical Lab Professional seeking a new challenge or starting your career in Clinical Lab Science? LabCorp is looking for you to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, contributing to our mission: “Improving Health, Improving Lives”.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Determine specimen acceptability for testing based on established criteria.
2. Perform routine and complex testing procedures according to SOPs.
3. Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
4. Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving.
5. Prepare, test, and evaluate reagents and controls.
6. Report accurate and timely test results to ensure quality patient care.
7. Perform preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
8. Replenish testing supplies as needed.
9. Assist with specimen processing when necessary.
10. Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory requirements.
2. At least 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience or an MLS degree.
3. ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
4. Ability to work independently and in a team.
5. Proficiency with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
6. Attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills.
7. Ability to pass a color vision screen.
8. Flexibility for overtime or shift changes as needed.
