Are you an experienced clinical laboratory professional looking for a leadership opportunity? Are you detail-oriented, process-focused, and enjoy leading others? LabCorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Team Leader to join our team in Oak Creek, WI. In this position, you will work in a fast-paced, customer-focused, and challenging environment, aligned with our mission: "Improving Health, Improving Lives."

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 pm - 2:30 am

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist the supervisor with daily lab operations
2. Send production reports to management regularly
3. Assist in training new hires and developing current employees
4. Keep the supervisor informed of group progress, issues, employee performance, and significant factors
5. Evaluate specimens for testing acceptability based on established criteria
6. Perform routine and complex procedures according to SOPs
7. Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation
8. Prepare, test, and evaluate reagents or controls
9. Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care
10. Perform preventive maintenance and quality control
11. Manage testing supplies and assist with specimen processing as needed
12. Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE

Requirements:

1. Associates degree or higher in a relevant science field or meet regulatory requirements
2. Minimum of 3 years experience as a Technologist/Technician
3. ASCP and/or AMT Certification required
4. Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
5. Understanding of laboratory operations, policies, and procedures
6. Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
8. High attention to detail and organizational skills
9. Ability to make decisions in a changing environment
10. Physical ability to meet position requirements
