Primary work will occur 8 : 30am - 5 : 00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional adjustment of work hours to cover clinic needs.
Primary Purpose of Position
This position performs waived and moderately complex patient testing. Provides accurate documentation, interpretation, and reporting of patient results which aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Also performs maintenance on the laboratory instrumentation and performs quality control procedures.
Required Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in medical technology, chemistry, or a biological science; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Some positions may require compliance with current Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulations.

Performs waived and moderately complex patient testing accurately documenting, interpreting and reporting patient results which aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Maintains the laboratory instrumentation and perform quality control procedures
Other Work Responsibilities
Troubleshoot instrument performance issues, resolve procedural issues and communicates finding to the Laboratory Supervisor.
Provides instruction and assists with competency assessments for lab staff as needed.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training / Education
At least 1 year of medical laboratory experience.
At least 1 year of experience in primary healthcare setting
Experience performing relevant waived and moderately complex patient testing.
Demonstrated customer service skills
Necessary Licenses or Certifications
