Atria Health Institute is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our physician office laboratory team. This role supports waived and moderate complexity testing in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, collaborating with clinical and operations teams to ensure accurate, timely results.

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related science field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and moderate complexity testing under supervision.
• Collaborate closely with clinical and operations teams.
• Prepare, label, and process specimens accurately.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (chemistry, hematology, POC devices).
• Perform and document quality control (QC) procedures.
• Enter and verify results in the EMR (Athena).
• Review patient visit requirements in the EMR.
• Prepare for next-day patient visits by organizing required specimen collection tubes and visit materials.
• Assist with send-out testing and specialty kits.
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper supply levels.
• Follow all CLIA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Demonstrates flexibility in supporting daily operational needs.
