Job summary

Atria Health LLC seeks a detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our physician office laboratory team. This role supports waived and moderate complexity testing in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment to ensure accurate, timely results.

You will collaborate with clinical and operational teams, prepare specimens, operate instruments, and document quality control procedures while maintaining compliance with CLIA and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related science field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform waived and moderate complexity testing under supervision.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical and operations teams.
  • Prepare, label, and process specimens accurately.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (chemistry, hematology, POC devices).
  • Perform and document quality control (QC) procedures.
  • Enter and verify results in the EMR (Athena).
  • Review patient visit requirements in the EMR.
  • Prepare for next-day patient visits by organizing required specimen collection tubes and visit materials.
  • Assist with send-out testing and specialty kits.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure proper supply levels.
  • Follow all CLIA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in supporting daily operational needs.

About the role:

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely results while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

What you'll do:

  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (chemistry, hematology, POC devices)
  • Perform and document quality control (QC) procedures

Compensation:
$30-34

  • Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related science field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferrered:

  • MLT (ASCP) or AMT certification
  • Experience in a physician office or outpatient lab setting
  • Experience with moderate complexity testing
