Job summary

Atria Health is launching its Los Angeles Institute and seeks a California-licensed MLT to join the founding LA team. The role involves collecting and processing in-office test orders, working with partner labs for send-outs, and maintaining compliance and quality across the lab operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in clinical labs, with hematology and chemistry experience, phlebotomy skills, and hands-on lab process knowledge from accessioning to testing and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or other relevant)
• Active California MLT license
• 3+ years laboratory experience in Point of Care and High Throughput environments
• Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects, processes, transfers, and packs patient samples for laboratory testing.
• Performs Point of Care testing and transmits results to the patient chart.
• Maintains lab environment and equipment in a clean, safe, and compliant state.
• Coordinate with multiple departments for receipt, invoicing, storage, and restocking of supplies.
