Job summary

Atria is seeking a Medical Technician for its NYC in-office laboratory. You will collect samples, process in-house tests, and coordinate with partner labs for high-complexity testing.

The role emphasizes compliance, quality, and patient-facing care during weekdays with occasional additional coverage. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in clinical labs focusing on Hematology and Chemistry, experience with waived tests, and strong communication skills to support clinical teams and ensure accurate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field is required.
• 3+ years of laboratory experience in Point of Care and High Throughput environments.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills.
• Availability to work Wednesday through Saturday on a 5x8 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects, processes, transfers, and packs patient samples for testing.
• Performs Point of Care testing and communicates results to the care team.
• Maintains a compliant, clean laboratory environment and equipment.
• Registers, documents, and tracks samples in lab software; supports send-out to reference labs.
• Coordinates with clinical staff on sample quality and timing to optimize testing outcomes.
• Assists with ordering of supplies and inventory management in the lab and exam spaces.
