Job summary

You will run quality controls, maintain instrumentation, handle critical results, and participate in cross-training across departments.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in biological sciences or chemistry, plus completion of a medical laboratory program or 3 years of experience; ASCP/AMT preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in biological sciences or chemistry preferred.
• Completion of qualified medical laboratory science program or three years of acceptable clinical laboratory experience required.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce and report laboratory results in hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and automated chemistry.
• Perform quality control data recording and interpretation across departments.
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on instrumentation as prescribed.
