Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Completion of a 50-week medical laboratory military course with Medical Laboratory Specialist.
• Completion of ABHES/CAAHEP approved clinical lab training with at least 3 months high complexity testing.
• CLIA high complexity qualification as of Dec 28 2024 and ongoing in the facility.
• Education/experience documentation on file with Laboratory (GHR).

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on blood, urine and other body fluids to aid in diagnosis and evaluation of patient status.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Maintain awareness and professionalism with patients, visitors, co-workers and all customers.
• Fulfill departmental responsibilities in line with Centennial Medical Center's mission and long-range plan.

Education

Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

Completion of a 50-week medical laboratory military course with Medical Laboratory Specialist

ABHES or CAAHEP accredited clinical laboratory training program with at least 3 months high complexity testing

Documentation of CLIA high complexity qualification as of Dec 28 2024 and ongoing
