Zusammenfassung

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN is seeking a Medical Lab Technician to join our team and help ensure accurate, timely lab services for patient care.

The MLT will handle specimen processing, perform tests, evaluate results, and maintain quality control within the Laboratory Information System, contributing to Performance Improvement initiatives and patient safety.

Qualifikationen

Associate degree; Graduate from a NCCLS accredited Medical Technician program.
Hospital laboratory experience preferred.

Aufgaben

Handle specimen processing and preanalytic inspection for identification and integrity.
Perform laboratory tests on patient specimens, evaluate results, and report into the LIS.
Perform and evaluate periodic quality control per policy and procedure.
Evaluate new or modified procedures, reagents and instruments as directed by Section Coordinator.
Troubleshoot all instruments as directed by Section Coordinator.
Participate in hospital initiatives and department goals set by Laboratory Director and Manager.
